I wear these under compression running tights. I recently bought them as advised by my vascular surgeon as extra leg protection due to the intensity of running on my legs. My calves are feeling really supported when I wear them, and I'm returning to running post-surgery without any problems.

I bought these primarily for running, as I was getting aching calves. They worked perfectly to ease that, but I also found them great for travel, to wear for compression / blood circulation while on flights. So they were very handy for that too.
